On Thursday, August 6, 2015, we hosted an open house to showcase our newly expanded grand jury room. We also used the occasion to honor former District Attorney Steve Graham by hanging his portrait in the room along side of his two predecessors. Thanks to Steve's wife, Kathy, Steve was completely surprised as a large group of his family and friends and the local legal community gathered for the occasion.
We also recognized Glenda Beckwith, who completed her 35th year of service to the office on August 4th. Glenda was also surprised to be an honoree at the event. In true Glenda fashion, she thanked many of those who have helped her over the years, including Judge Mike Jones, Judge Carole Medley and her many co-workers.
