Karen Brewer Retires - Week of Oct. 16, 2015

We paused from a hectic week to wish Karen Brewer well in her retirement. Karen’s family surprised her by joining us in the Grand Jury Room on Monday for a retirement luncheon.

Karen has been our Office Manager since the beginning of our administration. She was an outstanding office manager, but she was much more than that to us. She handled many duties in the office aside from office management and went about her work quietly and without complaint. She received many heartfelt compliments from fellow staff at the luncheon, including comments from Angie Hamilton, who suggested that each of us in the office should approach our work in the manner that Karen did and ask ourselves: “What would Karen do?” when we face difficulties in our jobs and in our life.
